"Nanja Contagion" (2020)

Synopsis: 
In the year 2020, Coronavirus, a terrible epidemic swept across the globe. The whole city was under lockdown due to the virus outbreak. Ruby, a normal student, discovers a series of mystery ninja codes. With the magical power, she acquires the agility and strength of a ninja. At the same time, evil has risen and she has no choice but starts her hero’s journey…

Artist Statement: 

"I decided to make it as a comedy film because I hope I can bring happiness and make the audience feel more positive by looking at this epidemic from a different angle and to remind people to stay home, stay healthy. All we need is a little patient, which is also the meaning of the Chinese word ’忍’ in the Chinese word of Ninja’忍者’, and everyone can be a hero to stop the epidemic by doing nothing but stay at home."
